I like the minimal feel our boards have, but only because they were a change from the ridiculous garishness of everywhere else. How about we make a move towards the middle- not the bare colours we have now, but no madness. Just logos for the following forums:

Olo Sq- I'm thinking Time Square with pictures of Olorix on some of the screens?
The Diner- preferably, a picture of the actual Diner
Assembly- the usual picture of a random legislature. Maybe a Soviet? Or a drawing of some ancient Athenian debate?
Speaker's Office- An office
Archon's Office- A slightly nicer office
Foreign & Treasury Ministry- There used to be such awesome logos for the offices, we could model on them
Inquisition- Muhuhahaha, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something

I can use Paint quite well, Paint.NET okayish but don't really play around with the complex features, Illustrator very basically. But I hope we won't have to resort to my image editing.

Anyway, I get ahead of myself. Does anyone else agree that our forum could be a little nicer*?

*Some might see the obvious links between Scott's post in Eastern Benacia, my article in the Liberator, and this idea. Rest assured they're not related, at all.

Cicero denounces Catiline! A great image if we can get it to work somehow. I have a friend whose hero is Cicero, and he has that on his wall, and he never stops blagging on if you give him the chance.
